HELP!!

There are a few complications here back at home, and i was wondering if anyone of you can help.

i really want to become a doctor, its the only thing iv always wanted to do, but that would take me atleast 7 years. i need to be done quicker so i can take care of my family. the only solution to this problem seems to be being some computer tech or engineering. can some help me and tell me quick way to get my mbbs? or just quick premed such as the sint euastis's one year pre-med?

there is no quick way around it if you are doing it right. even european programs right out of HS are 6 years. most of us with familes have held full time jobs whilke getting the pre reqs out of the way trying to save up some money and switching to full time med student when we get in.

talk to some people in the pre-med programs at the established carib schools such as ross and sgu and see how long it takes them but overall try and avoid any 'too good' to be true shortcut such as distance based learning and advanced standing status....hopefully it will be worth all the sacrifice

SGU, Ross and SMU i beleive have pre-med programs. call and ask them how many of your credits they will accept and how long before you go into med program. its a minimum of 5 years though.

stay clear of ANY program that sounds too good by offering advanced placement, online courses, problem based learning distance learning or anything with the words ground braking, innovative in it b/c as a foreign student you want to be vanilla and not forge new paths. call SGU and Ross fisr simply b/c they have been around longer them SMU.

have you looked at Irish and Aussie schools?
