Requirements galore

Our members don't see this ad.
I'm looking at post-bacc programs... some of these programs (like scripps, bryn mawr, etc) require you to have taken SATs or GREs in order to apply while some others (west chester, NYU, etc) don't have those requirements. I went to a CC then transferred and never took an SAT. I didn't do any graduate work, so I didn't take GRE... do they expect me to take the GRE to get into their program? Should I plan on taking that just for a post-bacc? Other schools that don't require it also have linkages programs too. I'm just wondering if anyone has any experience on this...thx.

Why don't you call them and ask?

I agree with medguy, call some programs and ask. You've taken a different path in life and they may be able to grant you an exception.

Of course if they don't, the GRE isn't too bad. I studied for 2 weeks and pulled a respectable score. I had friends who studied less and did amazingly well.
