SGU is probably a 3.35 and up with a mid-20's MCAT. Ross is a little hard to judge. Their admissions standards have gone way down recently (from the transfer students I have seen). But don't assume you can aim low and do well in medical school. Aim for A's. It will lead to more and better opportunities.

There is no real min. GPA. I've known of people who got in with a 2.4 but they had a 35 on the MCAT and I've known people with a 3.2 and a 14 MCAT that didn't get into med1. There are always exceptions but I would think at least a 2.8 or 3.0. A 2.5 GPA (Cum. or sGPA?) with a nice MCAT (26 or higher) might get you MERP or FOM (Ross and SGU pre programs, respectively). I'm sure research, LORs and clinical experience also factor in though.
