Lancet and New England Journal of Medicine are good for professional reading, of course.
I also enjoy Bellevue Literary Review, Prevention and Mother Earth News... because you might not know it to look at me, but I'm crunchy like that.

My personal favorites are CA: A Cancer Journal for Clinicians (published by the American Cancer Society..and it's free!) and The New York Times (especially Tuesday's Science section and the Health section).
