Undergrad 90 credits

Our members don't see this ad.
How do medical graduates from china/India manage to find residency and get licensed to practice in USA without the undergrad 90 credits? There are thousands of physicians in USA who have come via china/India route. Is it a problem in finding residency or getting licensure and how do persons without undergrad credits circumvent it?

Any insight will be greatly appreciated as I try to decide my future.

I assume their medical education is 6 years MBBS right after high school. So the MBBS degree contains more than 90 college credits I think. It's kinda like the 6 years B.S./MD programs offered in some medical schools in the states.

They first have to past the USMLE tests 1&2 before even being considered for a US residency. However, without the 90 hours undergrad. They will find getting full state approval to practice after residency very problematic (meaning it will most likely will not happen). Each state has it own rules about undergrad. It is too complicated to go into here. Research the state forums.
