Hello,

Does Poznan Medical offer a pre-medical course in the month of august before classes start in september? It is supposed to be a refresher course in order for you to be better prepared for the real classes in September. It has been recommended to me to take this course, and I was wondering if it is useful? What are the start dates of this course?

from what i have read from previous posts, it is kind of useless, but I am looking forward to it, I am sure it will be a great way of meeting ppl before actual school start!

When is the deadline for 4yr and 6yr MD applications? its not mentioned in the website--me thinks.

Hey Guys,
well I guess most of us know where we are going to med school next year, and to all of those that are going to be my classmates in the 4 year program at PMU, congratulations and glad to have you as my classmates! I am thinking of starting a class email address in which we can all communicate, or even exchange IM names. I am finding that getting in was the easy part, now that we have to deal with visas, medical examinations, getting european insurance, travel costs, financial aid and so on, it might be good to put our collective minds together and help each other out and well start getting to know one another. What do you guys say. Any replies, just send me a message here and I will contact you to set up the class email. cant wait to meet y'all and look forward to a great medical experience in Poland.

ps. if any of the current student at PMU read this, please help us out, things like finding good medical insurance that covers europe seems to be a pain in the butt, so if you have any recomendations on what you use or other students have used in the past, the information will be greatly appreciated.

Hi all,
I have just set up what can be called a class email for PMU class of 2010 in the 4 year MD program. Please all those members of this coming class write an email to pmumed2010@hotmail.com and I will write back with the password. This is a great way for us to get organized and deal with problems as they come, we have alot of responsabilities ahead of us, together, this will be so much simpler.

i m interested in the 4yr program.. but after looking through this forum and the school website.. i have not found much info about students applying from other countries apart from US and Canada... i m wondering if all other international students are eligible to apply? ( i m an Australian citizen)
any helps would be very much appreciated..
