I saw someone had started a thread for all the people accepted or attending a particular school and I thought that it was a good idea. I've been having trouble finding people who have been accepted to KMU so I don't expect this thread to be very successful but I though I might as well give it a try... So if anyone has been accepted or is attending KMU please post your thoughts, questions, concerns ect...

Great idea! Especially since many people think that all Polish Medical Schools are affiliated with agents such as HMI and thus are not legit. It always seems that a few bad apples spoil the bunch, but not in this case. Hopefully the truth about Poznañ will get out...that although not perfect, it is legit and one can obtain a good education and a residency after studying there.

The school is more than legit. It has already produced many chief residents and people that have gone on to great careers. Anyone who needs info about the school can email me.

I just wanted let everyone know that I've started a new thread about med school in Poznań. I thought that since the school changed its English name to the University of Medical Sciences in Poznań, that it would be a good idea to start a new thread which reflected this. How is the 6 year program at Karol Marcinkowski medical school. How is the residency acceptance in USA? Does the program prepare the student for USMLE exama?

Probably how you plan on financing your education there, as they estimate expenses at $23,600 per year (http://www.mdprogram.com/md/FinancialPlanning.shtml).

Maximum (prior to fees) Stafford both sub. and unsub is $18,500.

Thanks for your input, but I was hoping for something more constructive. I would especially like to hear from people who have interviewed for the four year program, or perhaps the six year program.
