Haha, main course, appetizer, drink. Milk Bar is like the place that students, retired people living on a pension, bums, alcoholics go to eat. Its dirt cheap and you get what you pay for. Theres one around the corner from my house and I don't go there unless I have too.......

With the EU gaining on the US $ it would be more so, inevitable to see these prices fall. The Pound is getting stronger with the weak US markets, and there is significant unrest in the middle east that is in their back yard. So, this price will get worse over time in there is no change in how things are run to deal with the US economic woes.

figuring costs? Do figure in outrageous tuition increases
Hi,
I am trying to estimate how much I will spend per year if I will go to Poznan. -mdcrunch The school is trying to implement a 30% tuition increase starting next year. The official number is 41500 pln = roughly 18k usd. -chexpool Using Yahoo's currency converter 41500 pln is today $20,390; not conincidently just about what the Stafford Loan program allows graduate students ($20,500). Moreover, the payments will be given to you now in PLN (Polish currency). With the EU gaining on the US $ it would be more so, inevitable to see these prices fall. -kamulali Since school administrators predict it getting close to a 1/1 ratio and the billing is to be done in PLN in the future -- except next years tuition to be the equivalent of $41500; if their prediction holds up. Don't except the Stafford Loan program to start giving foreign graduate students the additional $20,000 now available to US medical students, but do be aware that the school knows that the additional $$'s were approved for US medical students and they want the $$$ ... it never has been about what the actual cost of the education is, rather what they can get or push students to get. When you figure your costs for the program, figure in outrageous % increases on whim and without regard for students. If you can afford $40+ tuition despite their poor track record in securing residencies and despite the fact students must put out additional $$$'s to fill the gaps they do not fill in a medical education or rotations. |

right; the cost after the raise will be 19800 in USD.
The school has no problems with securing residences. just google it. i dont know whoops does or is: but if you look at his posts he has 40 posts bashing PUMS. I wonder if he got kicked out. It's difficult to draw obvious conclusions if no grad year dates are shown, or if the dates shown do not reflect graduation from the english-language program... "MD: K. Marcinkowski Medical School, Poznan-Poland, 1993". I don't believe the english program existed back in 1993. Having said that, yes, there are in fact grads that have secured residencies in the US, but listing these as examples you're hardly securing your cause.
