One of the hospitalists here attended medical school at Univerzita Komenskeho in Slovakia (she's from there, originally), and did her residency in Pennsylvania someplace.
One of the surgeons went to University of Sind in Pakistan, residency in Massachusetts. (Within that region, there's a pathologist from a Pakistani school, as well, and a sleep specialist who studied in India.) One of the psychiatrists went to Medical Academy of Gdansk in Poland, residency in NY. Germany is also well-represented. One of the geriatricians went to Karl-Eberhardts-Universitaet, and one of the internists went to Universitaet Bonn. Those are the ones I know of, anyway. Hope that helps.
