general question regarding admissions.
I would like to go to medical school, but I have a fairly low GPA, 2.92 for High School and a 2.98 for university studying art. In High School I studied
1 year of chem and 1 year of bio, but no physics. Needless to say I was lazy in both High School and university. But such is life when you have a undiagnosed learning disability and are forced to attend University directly out of High School by your parents. (please excuse the sob story)
Now for the cliché bit: feel free to skip it if you like
I have since started studying nursing. I was able to finagle my way into spending a week shadowing doctors at the hospital, and now know what I want to do with my life. I am older now 29, and much wiser, I have my learning disability under control via medication, and realize that anything worth doing is difficult. I know that I can achieve much higher grades, and will hold myself to a much higher standard, since I have a goal, and peoples lives depend on my decisions, and knowledge. In contrast to my earlier educational endeavours where I was motivated by the threats of crazed immigrant parents.
Is it possible for me to get into a 6 year medical program in Poland with my grades? Any advice?
