your opinion on UNIVERSITY OF SILESIA, Poland
hey guys, i m new here. i was thinking of attending Med. U of Silesia
i just wanted ur opinion on the Medical University of Silesia. if it "legit" or not.

I was wondering about the school as well. Can you elaborate a little. By the way, I am making a choice between medical university of lodz and medical university of silesia. Which one would you choose?

Depends on what you mean. If you're asking about the school itself, then it's a pretty decent school. BUT, if you're going from the US, you'll be going into the English language program through HMI. I can't stress enough how bad of an idea that is!! Trust me!! I was there for a number of years, and in the end, I just got sick and tired of HMI and their unethical business practices...It's just not worth it....There are SO MANY better options, HMI shouldn't even be on your list of places to consider....

what is an HMI??

I do not have to apply through HMI. I am a british student and can apply to the school directly.

HMI is Hope Medical Institute. They're the agent you go through that's affiliated with University of Silesia.....If you can get in without having to deal with them, you'll be much better off...
