Well here it goes
1) Yes the "three hospitals are same for 4 year of 6 year grads with passing usmle" 2) Its not really 3 hospitals they lost Chicago due to cheating students and students who were not taught well in HMI itself. Because afteral the Hospitals have a reputation to maintain and HMI keeps admitting retarded people with Iq's lower then room temp. LOL no joke we have some students with 1.5 College GPA's. 3) I do not know about the quality of the hospital why not ask HMI to provide you with contact info for them.. I bet they will say "we cannot" I called one of these hospitals and spoke to a few department attendents, out of all the ones i spoke to 1 had a slight idea that the hospital even offered a clinical rotation program. At that point i finally got intouch with the head of rotational studies, and left voicemail after voicemail and got no response. The hospitals websites are pretty bad also, i cannot seem to find correct contact info. Look ill be honest with you, your better off going to another program. The schools that HMI affiliates with are just not upto par. Cadavars are more then 17 years old. Some falling apart and missing parts. You will not be able to disect any cadavar as the school allows FREE attending polish students to do that and not the 15 GRAND a year US Students. We are still fighting this issue. Pardon my spelling its about 3 am here. Look through all the threads and also talk to universities ask for contact info, of anyone they can. Its best to know what your getting into. I wish i could pull out but, i am too much in debt with this program and also None of the credits transfer from this school because its basically not recognized with any type of standard of education comparing to carr schools. Once your in your in! Unless you got money and time to waste. So make your decision wisely and please please please do not listen to any HMI staff, they are business people selling you a school, None have any type of M.D. Try to get ahold of students if you can, if not you always got me to ask. And i stick to what i say about this school and HMI. ~YAhooooooOOoooo |

Hope Medical affiliated schools are whack. You will teach yourself medicine is the best i can tell you. They are looking for me, they want to kick the student out who is telling the truth about the school to the world. In a recent encounter they were seeking the individual who was posting on valuemd and rumors were they are going to kick them out of school. Need i say more ? These people are afraid of the truth being spread to others. Letters written to them from previous students are bull. HMI pays the students to write these letters. The Teachers at times do not know how to say "window" in english. The school is ok but please try not to go via HMI. They are known to lie and cheat. The teachers are great BUT they cant teach!! They have phd's but they lack teaching skills to convey the knowledge in a manner in which an American Student would understand. I am attending this program. The living conditions are moderate. You should look into other options if all else fails come to Poland. Is my Last line for you.

Antigua & KMCIC
When talking about affiliations in Medical schools the first thing that comes to mind is the collaboration of Antigua College of Medicine and Kasturba Medical College International Center (KMCIC).
KMCIC was ranked 5th best Medical college in India and it boasts of the 3rd largest campus and students from over 40 nations. Now, I shall talk about the most interesting part. The students have the options of enrolling at either Antigua campus or at the KMCIC Campus in Manipal, India. Later, the prospective doctors have the opportunity to complete their clinical Sciences at United States teaching hospitals. Last edited by Asclepios22; 06-19-2008 at 10:57 AM. |
