I interview in Poznan this Friday, 18 May 07. I'm traveling from Germany, so, I leave tomorrow, just to give myself some time to get familiar with where I need to be.

I also plan to look for apartments and such, and just overall get familiar with the area.
Anyway, if any students or other interview-ees want to meet up, allow me to know.

i hope all went well with your interview. i was considering attending poznan next year, but am considering a lot of factors and doing tons of investigating before deciding. if it's not too much trouble, please let me know how the interviews went: what questions, stress level, facilities, and any other information you can provide would be quite helpful. if would be great if you can post it in student doctor website.

So, I was accepted.


The facility was very nice, big, and clean. Very clean.

I met with the Vice-Dean, who was very direct, but I prefer it that way, anyway.

He asked me why I wanted to study medicine, what experience I had (in my military background as a medic), where I went to school, my hobbies, where I am from, if I know any Polish, etc.

If you know exactly what you want, it shouldn't be too stressful. I don't worry about things though, or get nervous.

There are always other schools, and I told him that, haha.

So, now, I have to search for an apartment, and get my tuition and loans taken care of.

I fly back to Germany tomorrow, but, I should be able to do a bunch via the internet. (I am a US citizen)

For now, I enjoy some Lech.
