Anyone going to to the Poznan's interview in Somers NY this sunday (05/06/2007)??? - Page 4

Hey guys I just wanted to say thanks to all of you for the help. I have also been accepted to PUMS for 2007. Hope to so see you guys soon. By the way can anyone point me in the right direction to find the books I will need for the 4 yr program. Anyone interested in selling prior 1st and 2nd year books? Please let me know. I know that I saw a post a while back but I can't seem to find it. Any ideas guys??

I have interview in New York and it's scheduled for the end of June. However, I was told by the admissions staff that if I decide not to go to Poland this coming September, then I can have a spot reserved until I graduate the following year. I'm just entering my fourth year and studying for that MCAT. Of course there is a fee for reservation. I will call be calling back again before my interview just to make sure this is correct, it seems a little weird to me that a Medical School would proceed in this way. It makes me beleive that it may be dubious and clearly just about getting money out of you. So seriously, how difficult is it to get back into Canada? I also heard that Jagiellonian is better.

They probably would do something like that. Also all the Polish schools are pretty much the same.

the 3 other girls that were there at the interview with me all got accepted. 2 for the 4 yr MD and 1 for the 6 yr MD. I was the only 5 yr DDS there.

To give back to this community. I am going to tell you the specific questions they asked me.

1) why you want to be a doctor/dentist
2) What do you like to do on your free time
3) Describe your study habbits
4) What would you consider to be your source of distraction for your studies
5) Why do you want to go to Poznan
6) Where did you hear poznan about.
7) What does your siblings think about you attending school in Poznan
8) Do you want to specialize? What field of medical/dental

The whole interview lasted about 20 minutes. and after the nice conversation with the 5 representatives from Poznan, they asked me to step outside the room. 3 minutes later, they called me back into the room and told me the results!
