i don't think you have to do any or all your clinicals in poland as far as i understand they said i could do all my clinicals in the sates, if avaiable in one hospital, atleast all can be done in a vicinity.

is it like a college town? lots of students?

Are you sure about that?

I don't think I would draw any kind of comparison to any sort of n.american "college town". It's the 2nd largest city in Poland, if I'm not mistaken. It has several major universities and a few new private schools are on the rise. Still, it's not exactly the kind of tourist destination that Warsaw or Krakow are. Also, it's not as quaint as Poznan or Gdansk, for example. So, it doesn't draw as many foreign students. But yeah, plenty of Polish students around and, of course, the occasional droves of obnoxious drunk foreigners.

well it depends where you are appling from. are you in th US? US students have to apply to the "affiliated" school here in America, or so they call themselves, but many people say they are agents, Hope Medical Institute (HMI). We have to apply hrough them in order to get the loans and clinicals in the US. they told me to choos between Selisia and Lublin. i asked about Warsaw and they said the reason why they are not accepting applications was because they are having problems with the contracts/license with the US hospitals for students to do there clinicals, which just started sounding fishy to me cause there other schools, Lublin and Selisia, supposedly do clinicals in the US. HMI said they used to accept apps for this school but stopped. i did not understand this how do you have the license or contract to do clinicals with the school in America and then loss it? i don't know but i was confused about the situation and they were to unorganizedand, which made my decided to go to Lodz that much easier.
