Hi all,
I also will be staring this fall at MUL. Can I expect an interesting pool of classmates?

Then on the AIM website, it says that it will cost 10,000 US/SEMESTER
Why are the AIM students being charged 10,000/Semester if the university itself charges its students who apply directly 10,000 for the entire YEAR???????? Please answer this if you know and I hope its not simply because they are able to set up the clinical rotations in the US.
Because AIM is an agent, and all of them run a sham business scheme...so they cash out 4,5-5000 euros from you, beyond what the university gets. Im sure u have run into the topic before if you followed the thread...good news is..from what I heard they are alot better than the infamous HMI.

1It is a very cold place.
2.The life is cheaper there.
3. You will not be able to practice in California.

Besides there is nothing negative.

Lodz

I beg to differ...there's plenty of negative things about Lodz and their medical program...AND AIM is NO BETTER OR NO WORSE than HMI....AIM has not lived up to it's end of the bargain for many of the students at Lodz...and besides the medical program in Lodz DOES NOT prepare you for the board exams...I've heard the same complaint in HMI programs also...this is just one issue in terms of similar issues....but Lodz is horrible...there's too many issues at hand...please read my other posts about Lodz to get a better idea...At least Lublin, warsaw and Katowice, are beautiful cities. Lodz is what it is...a ghetto...It still was and it still is...It has not changed, yet.

Lodz is cheap???

Oh and one more thing..Since when did things in Lodz were cheap within the last 2 years??? With the US/Candaian dollar equalizing and Euro being more expensive, You'll definitely change your opinion once poland starts rolling out EU coins...I bet if you buy food at McDonald's for example a cheesburger(3,00 zloty) that's roughly $1.50 for ONE cheesburger...and you're telling me it's cheap..I'm sitting here laughing my *** off when u say it's cheap too live Lodz or Poland for that matter...Have you seen the real estate market???...Have you tried living or buying things in the UK, Finland, Denmark, Italy???....those coins are definitely gonna put a dent in students' pockets once they realize how much money they'll spend weekly coming home late nights partying(especially those taxis---sure they;re cheap now...but u ever ride a euro taxi???)...I'll bet you'll see more students change their spending habits once the euro kicks into poland in about a couple of years...so the rumors go for that

message to medicodreamer

I did a little background check on your posts....You seem to be referring to california multpile times on your own posts(That's SO LAUGHABLE) and yet you have the gaul to come to another foreign medial school forum and try to compound your superiority on another forum...If you dont know anything about polish programs, stay away from these forums...dont try to impress us with the very small intellect you have by stating your biased opinon...and you want to be a physocian in US especially California (that's even more LAUGHABLE)..You are not invited to give any more of your opinions about the polish medical schools until you get your facts straight ...Who are you anyway??? Posting crap statements like that when you are in the forums from UAG medical school...This below is one of your postings:

1. It seems as of now, if you do 6 years including social service in Mexico, you wont have any issues with residency. If you do the 5 years, I think the only limitation will be be that you wont be able to do RESIDENCY in california but you should be able to practice there once residency completed somewhere else.
2. The options are NY, PR and maybe nevada. 5 years from now, many things can change and many other places can be opened.
3. It seems like we have more than before. You will get your MD degree not just a certificate of completion. Also, no more mexican test which is a plus and one less concern for us. Good luck
