Hey Guys,

The Medical University of Warsaw has two faculties. English Division is part of the II faculty. Both of the faculties have polish students but the II faculty only has english and polish medical students. The reason for the division into two faculties is due to the amount of students studying at warsaw. Both faculties due the same things except that they are assigned to different hospitals inorder to try to keep clinical group sizes down.

Once they were thinking of establishing a third division for the english medical students but instead we are part of the II faculty. Hope this helps. If you have more questions let me know.

i know if u grad from poland med school and try to go back to US ...the chances of getting into a hard residency like derm is very difficult..i want to know wat are some of the less competitive residencies which foreign med school grads can get in. i already know of internal med, pediatrics, and family practice. any others?

What is it with everyone and derm? Who'd want to get into that? Has anyone tried? My suggestion, do path then dermpath. All that mula without all the ickyness.

Recent specialties matched into n.america by grads from poland: fm, im, peds, ob/gyn, neuro, path, rehab, gen surg, neuro surg, ortho. These are just some people I know, I'm sure there are others.

You have a link for the ortho grad? (BTW, I've heard that dermpath is also ubercompetitive.)

Why, you don't believe it's possible?

dermpath, yeah, cause all those derm grads are trying to get into it. But if you get into patho residency in the us, you're pretty much on equal footing for fellowship.

Oh yeah, you can put google to good use and you might just find him/her.

Until I see proof, I am highly skeptical of ortho claims for USIMGs.

So, feel free to put up a link or pm me with the name and/or google search.
