doctor as PA

Hi,
I am MBBS graduated outside united states.I wanted to do physician assitent course for getting F1 visa to enter in united states because to do my steps and gaining some US clinical experience.
My question is ,Is that possible to do PA course as I am a doctor already?

requirement

i'm carribian medical graduate but having trouble getting into residency program. i am thinking about changing direction to PA. as carribian medical school graduate, would PA accept any of courses i took at med school or do i have to start all over in PA program.

I dont think that you can get a PA license anymore. A few years ago, doctors with no licenses were able to get a PA license. That has been stopped. This may only be true for florida. If you find out any other info. let me know.

Most PA programs require 90 credits wirht of prerequisites and then 2.5-3 years of classrooma dn clinical time to earn a masters.

Seems more logical to come to the staes to get an MPH degree, study for the steps and then try to get into a residency/ fellow program as and MD/MPH or something.

Or come teach as an adjunct.
