Scared And Stressed Out Applying!!

Hi Everyone,

I Am Currently Applying To Various Pa Programs. I To Med School For A Semester And Quickly Realized It Is Not The Lifestyle I Want To Have. I Applied To Schools Last Year And Received A Few Interviews. I Was Wait-listed At One School But Did Not Get In. I Had Volunteered At A Hospital For A Few Months But I Guess I Do Not Have As Much Health Care Experience As Many Others Do. I Used To Work As A Sales Specialist After I Left Med School But After Not Getting Into Any Programs I Quickly Quit That Job And Found A Job At A Doctors Office, Assisting And Doing Receptionist Work Too. I Have Been Working Full Time There For 3 Months. My Gpa Is A 3.2, Not Impressive. I Was Wondering What You Guys Think I Should Do Now. I Am Working On My Personal Statement And I Get Sick To My Stomach Every Time I Look At It! I Feel Like I Am On The Right Track But I Am Not Sure What These Schools Want Anymore! What Do You Guys Think?

Follow your own heart... no one wants to be responsible for your failure outcome...

That's not good... if you are sure you want to do medicine, you shouldn't be getting sick but happy...

Dont pa's do a four year and residency also?? What med school were you in?? many times the things like p.a and pharmacy have tons of applicants. When committees look at your record, .. Sorry, not being mean. But you were in and tossed it. They will wonder i f you will toss them also. Put yourself in their shoes. they will be way more inquisitive than this.

Hahahaha. Its because I had the caps lock on and everything was capatilized. I guess it automatically changes it to only the first letter.

And as for what med school I was in it was Ross University, a caribbean med school.

It is true tho...they do feel like I might toss them too. But its how I am supposed to prove to them that I will not that is the hard part.

How Competitive is PA?

Hi.. I'm kind of interested in the PA programs and I am just wondering what is the normal GPA to apply to a PA school?? On the website of the schools that I visited they recommend a B or higher ("C being not as competitive") but what should the GPA be around?

On the side note? How much a PA make (from experience) I do know from the annual salary count.. but just wondering if anyone knows about the number specifically
