Advanced Pharmaceutics: Herbal Activation Principles 1-Activated Nigella sativa oil Rabicabir as a new patent-protected technology Prof.Dr. JeanMark and Dr. Ad A. Abeas Depart of Biopharmaceutics, Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Auvergne, Clermont-Ferrand, France Abstract: Activation technology ia a new breakthrough technology consisting of patent-protected procedures. These procedures are very expnesive but increase the pharmacological and biological activities of herbal products many hundred times; for example Nigella sativa oil can be activated to give an immunomodulatory activity equal to one thousand fold as non-activated Nigella sativa and an anti-viral activity equal to two hundred folds as non-activated Nigella sativa in patients suffering from chronic active hepatitis C associated with high quantitative HCV-RNA PCR. The cost is very expensive where one Kg of dried acivated Nigella sativa oil cost The dried activated Nigella sativa molecule is called Rabicabir. The technology of activation was developed firstly in Clermont-Ferrand, France, University of Auvergne. The cost of this technology was very expesive (about 2 million euros). (Rabicabir) capsules; patent number 200605216 and the activation know-how was developped in France through “Laboratoire d’Innovation in design and development drugs delivery devices “ which located in Clermont-ferrand. This technology also includes the concentration of certain active ingredients in the plant more than normal ratio or formation of covalent bonds among certain components within the herb for example the formation of covalent bond between amino acids and polysaccharide molecules within the herb, this give a new stereo-configuration for the molecule of dried activated Nigella sativa in the space. This new configuration enable Nigella sativa molecule to block chemokine receptors.Rabicabir has multi-mechanism antiviral activity; it blocks the ability of the virus to use CCR5 receptors on human immune cells (mostly CD4 Tcell) as a means of entering and taking control of the cells in order to use them for its own replication. Rabicabir also stimulate the immune system to increase the production of natural killer lymphocytes and Immunoglobulins which include IgA, IgD, IgE, IgG, and IgM. These antibodies naturally fight off bacteria, viruses, allergens and yeast. Rabicabir is a great detoxifier, and thought to drive poisons out of our our body systems.
