how does beta blocker decrease blood pressure in aortic dissection?

Beta blockers if non-selective ...meaning blocking b1 ( decreasing HR) and blocking B2 ( VD and decrease TPR) ...but if you think about all other antihypertensive meds can do the same ...then the question is why B blockers then Aortic Dissection ?
the answer is ..it is the only antihypertensive that has to do with decrease the shearing force of the blood in thoracic aorta or downstream in the abdominal aorta
