Syndrome is combination of signs and symptoms. For example, nephrotic syndrome is oedema, hypoalbuminaemia, severe proteinuria and hypercholesterolaemia.

Disease is illness, disorder of body or mind. For example, glomerulonephritis. Disease is manifested by syndrome. E.g. glomerulonephritis can be manifested as nephrotic syndrome, nephritic syndrome...

crohn's disease....gi, not that extraintestinal manifestations can't secondarily present.....but a disease is rooted in one organ system, and a syndrome spans more than one
