DOs take some coursework in OMM in addition to their medical coursework. Other than that they are pretty much the same, except for the DO designation and that they also have the option of completing DO residencies.
Some people say DOs have a harder time practicing overseas, but there seems to be a fair number of countries that recognize them as equals to Allopaths. Anyway this point is moot because it is extremely difficult for physicians to cross borders.
