Hi,
I have been reading everyone's posts and I noticed talk of transferring from MUA after completing the premed courses. I am curious as to what schools you are able to transfer to from MUA's PreMed Program? Also, what are the requirements in order to transfer? Thanks in advance for your response |

I believe there are slight chances of transfering to saba from MUA if you do really really well. Um and other better med schools in the caribbeans no chance. But I would asume somee private schools in other countries like china, pakistan etc would let u transfer but im not too sure about that and i dont know why anyone would want to do that unless they dont do well in the premed and dont get in mua med program.

I'm pretty sure you can transfer to Saba after successfully completing pre-med at MUA, but only Saba, it's either that or MUA. For other schools you would have to complete pre-med in the US.

We had a girl in my med one who did her pre-med at MUA-Nevis and had to complete Med one at MUA-Nevis before she was allowed to transfer to med 1 again at SABA. If you are on campus please ask any of the Med 2 pre-meds.
Also AUA will only take MUA premeds into their pre-med 3 program. SMU will not take MUA pre-meds into MED 1, only after they have completed MED 1 at MUA , then SMU will they accept MUA pre-meds into med 2. Last edited by Weather_Man; 10-19-2006 at 03:12 AM. |
