Billa's right on this one, I think I've even heard of someone waitlisted for May. It's always good to apply as soon as you're ready, but January is highly unlikely at this point. Even if you're hoping for a spot to open up, I'd seriously consider putting May as your first choice, and then asking afterward if there is a chance of anything opening up sooner.
Just a personal thought, but it might look to them like a lack of foresight if an app came in now expecting to get in for January. I'd put May. (and it does take some time to arrange travel, immunizations, record checks etc...)
Good Luck!!!

There isn't a standard minimum for GPA, it all depends on the applicant pool and how strong the rest of your application is. I don't know of any school that looks at high school marks- who knows, maybe there are some out there. Lots of universities let "mature students" in who haven't even completed highschool, so I bet a person would be hard pressed to find a graduate/md/professional program which would still consider such things.

Hey guys,

I'm interested in applying to Pre-Med2.. would i indicate on the appplication that I want to go for Pre-Med 2, as opposed to Pre-Med 1? Or do admissions choose either one for us?

Thanks!

PreMed 1 and 2 are both part of the PreMed curriculum. They don't give advanced standing or admit directly into PreMed 2. Sorry
