Apply soon, because the jan '07 session will probably get filled up fast. Not many people got into the sept session so there are probably many students who already chose the jan '07 session as their second choice (since their first choice sept '06 was already filled).

Read the interview, I know it seems long, but it's really not. Probably a 20 to 30 minute read.

Good luck to both of yous

Thumbs up Interview

Hey guys! Congrats for those who got into the Jan 07 pre-med 1 program and good luck to those who are applying , looking forward to meeting you all there. Basically if you havent had your interview there is nothing to fret about. They will just be asking you questions such as Why do you want to become a doctor? or How will you be able to adjust to the island life? Those sort of things. It isnt very long and will last less than 30 minutes...Good luck once again.

hey everyone. Im applying to the MUA premed, sending in my app tommorow, to start in jan. 07. Does anyone know someone who had gone through the entire program, premed to medicine and gotten into residency and licensed in the states?

Hey Caldje, I highly doubt there is still space available for jan 07, because they already started accepting for the May 07 semester . You can still put Jan as your first choice. You may be able to get on the waiting list, since there might be some people who were accepted for jan and either decided not to go,or didn't pay their seat deposit, and then there might be some people who may not pay the tution fee in november. Good Luck with everything i hope to see u in jan or may. Ohh and I think my cousin knows people who went through pre med/med and are currently licenced , but Maybe you can find someone on this forum who has done premed in mua and is now doing residency.

There aren't any deadlines its a rolling admission, So its a first come first serve type of deal. Um like I said in my post above, classes are full its kind of too late for jan, but you can still apply.
You can also pick your other choices on the application so if not jan u can get into may07 or sept 07.
If I were you I would apply for May07 semester assuming that it is too late for Jan sem and also thinking about the very short time that is left till Jan... When I applied I wanted to apply for sept06 but I was also a late commer like u, so i decided to apply for Jan and i think it was a great decision it gave me time to think, and i also started working full time for all the the things I will need on the Island. Apply now for May and just relax for a while work or do what ever while you can.
