Application Process for Premed.

I recently applied for the pre-med program starting Sept. 06'. I recieved an e-mail from MA., where I sent my application, that they recieved all my application information and have forwarded it to the selection committee and I will hear from them within 7 days. Question: When they contact me is that to set up the interview time and date?
Is there anyone on the forum that has been accepted into the pre-med program for September 06'?

Application Process for Premed.

Hi,

I am going to apply to MUA for premed, but I have some questions about sendng in the letters of recommendations and transcripts. Do I get the school to send in the transcript directly, or do I mail it in with my application? Same goes for LORs, do I mail them in or does the writer?

I'd like to apply for September 06, is it still open?

Thanks

you can fax your entire application with resume/essays and even unofficial transcripts. you can have your recommenders mail directly, or mail for them, or have them fax them ( them mailing seems more legit). You have to send official transcript and app once ur accepted. Oh you must send your fee as well through the mail obviously

Pre-med Sept. 06

Hi Broadwaymspiggy,

After MUA has received your email, they will call you and set up an interview date, if they have considered that you have a good chance of getting in. The interview is relaxed but I found that preparing ahead of time is really helpful. I prepared myself for the interview by practicing the questions that others have listed in the interview thread on this forum. I did well on the interview, and a week later, I got a package and got accepted to the Pre-med program for Sept. 06. I am so happy and i can't wait to start. I wish you the best of luck in your process and if you wish, just let me know how it went.

Good luck

Harleen
