premed

hello ppl-

I applied for the may 06 semester for med but was rejected. my GPA was 2.9w/ no clinical exp and no MCAT. anyways i was wondering if i can do premed 2 there instead . they didnt offer it to me so im left wondering if i should call and ask them for a place for may 06? do ppl who get rejected for med usually offered premed? thanks

Well you should definetly ask them what you need to do. Maybe they were just filled up for may 06, You should definelty ask them if your chances are better if you applied for sept 06 and jan 07 before you even suggest to them premed II. MUA gets a lot of applicants now and I have a feeling they just didn't have enough room left so ask about your chances if you just apply for a later semester.

If you have all your prerequisites in, you can definitly reapply for a later semester. Remember, the earliest you apply the better are your chances to get in.

i called the office today and they gave me premed 1 for the may 06 semester. i have also been accepted to st. statia for the md program in may. im confused as to which one to choose. has the premed semester been helpful for those who took part in it. i dont know if i want to spend 2 more semester un premed and then start med 1. plzz help!
