Do you need USLME, before Clinical rotation in Ireland.

Do those of you who are doing your clinicals in Ireland want to practice in the US? Do you feel disadvantaged? Would anyone be able to give me a full link to mua's hospital affiliations?

Very general question, sorry, REALLY APPRECIATE any insight

Can you tell me if you feel pretty well advised as to the how to succeed at your various clinical rotations? To be more specific, do MUA clinical advisors teach you well regarding how to be a part of the team and how to understand the process globally, and then also the particular "personality" of each clinical site?

also, is pimping a very common reality? Is it mean, or is it more like just teaching?

Hi, I just got in for january 2008 semester..
I was wondering how hard is it to get clinical rotations? As far as i know they take care of your core rotations? (is it after your usmleI exam?)
Are you responsible for your own electives? Is it hard to find rotations for that? A reply would be greatly appreciated..
One last thing.. are you guys glad that you choose MUA?

I am only med2, but I do know they assign yoru clinical rotations, including electives. Sites are listed on the website, or call Gardner. I am very glad I chose here, it's a wonderful school, good Island, different culture, but that's to be expected.

The Med Psych (behav sciences) teacher just said in class yesterday that many of us will do Psychiatry core first, because that is allowed prior to USMLE, but you need USMLE passing to go into other cores.

Take care.

Ps. ANY CLINICAL STUDENTS, PLEASE CLARIFY OR ADD, WE SURE COULD USE IT.
