Thread: Psychiatry Rotation in Shreveport, LA

Just looking for any people that are starting Psychiatry on June 18th, 2012.

Anyone else know any good places to live that are safe/decently priced?

Everyone keeps saying to get a car, but I don't want to get a car if I'm only there for six weeks.

A lot of students live at university court (LSUS campus). Its on the bus line too.

A room is available on October 1st. Very safe area.
Queen bed, dresser, desk, lamp, shared bathroom with another medical student. If the other room is empty while staying, you will have your own bathroom.
Internet, electric, gas, water, washer, drier, parking included.
The rent is $575 for 4 weeks, $850 for 6 weeks. Longer term is available with discounted rates as well.
1.5 miles from Brentwood, 0.4 miles from LSUHSC hospitals. There are restaurants and supermarkets close by.
