Thread: NY living costs?

Hey, could anyone who has had some experience (or knows), give me an idea of what the living costs would be for 2 people in NY? I know the areas are different in terms of prices and all, but just a round figure if possible. Probably a 1 bedroom apartment, or anything else that could work + living expenses (i.e. food, entertainment [other than books], etc) and stuff? Just looking to set a tentative budget.

As an aside, what are the chances of getting all rotations in NY if I specify that on the little criteria thing they give them. And I know it'll take longer this way, but not too much I hope? Thanks in advance for the help

Anywhere thats close to a hospital where Im doing a rotation - preferably not too expensive, but just looking for round figures. Do you have ne idea?
