Thread: Where can I get Health Insurance for a Canadian Student?

Looking for some advice/input as to which places to seek Health insurance from while on rotations as a Canadian. If you could share any information regarding your providers, your plan and the rough annual cost for the policy, i would appreciate it tremendously. Currently i'm finding most things in the ball park of $600-1100. Looking for something a little less $$$.

Manulife is around 680 i believe.
Travel Inc i think was 710

If you have ohip out of country/student..u can get soem kind of partial insurance for 500...i think it's travel underwriters, less coverage than above, but I think that's where OHIP comes into play if necessary.

I believe OHIP student covers emergency procedures.What kind of coverage do we get with the travel underwriters(dental?)
