Thread: Any mosques in Houma, LA?

Hey folks,

I will be moving to Houma for my rotations soon. Was wondering if there were any mosques or musallahs (temporary prayer places) and Zabeeha meat stores in the area.

I was able to find some around New Orleans area but my searches haven't yielded anything closer. If you are currently there or have been there before, I would appreciate it if you can let me know.

I don't think there are any places of prayer other than a church here - it's still a fairly small city. And the closest halal meat store is in Metairie - roughly 40 mins away (students go there all the time).
