if you are needing a place to stay close (5-8 minute drive) to the hospital in Houma, LA. you can contact Mary at 985-879-4027. She runs a bed & breakfast and is super nice, as well is use to having students rent rooms. her rates are very competitive, rooms are fully furnished, and available for either a short or long term stay..no lease required. Also, you don't need to worry about waiting for the draw bridge because it is on the same side as the hospital (people who have lived in Houma know what I mean).
