Thread: MUA vs. AUA clinicals?

Hi, everybody, this is my first post, I am considering both MUA and AUA, and was wondering if anyone can tell me how easy it is to get clinical rotations at MUA? The educational quality at each school seems about equal, however at AUA, although they have a very nice campus, it seems like their clinicals are really messed up. From reading the threads on their forum, it seems like they are having to wait a minimum of 3 months, some almost a year, to start clinicals. I don't really mean for anyone to compare the two, I am doing that myself, I am just curious of how easy clinicals are to get for MUA students? While I'm asking, I should clarify, by saying Greenbook rotations, because that is what would be harder to obtain. Thanks, everyone.

There may be another way, but what I did was go to the School specific forum (Saba, SGU, etc.) from the pull-down menu under Caribbean Medical Schools in the top left. Once you are there, at the top of the thread list, there should be a button that says "New Thread."

lots of threads already on this. I have experienced no delays of problems with MUA clinicals.

I go to MUA and there are no clinical problems. Usually get them within 1 - 2 mnths. There are rotations at Atlanta, Chicago, NY, Cntct, Maryland. Oklahoma, LSU etc etc. Don't just look at that, look at the residencies, I am a little biased but we have been doing really great with the residencies that students are getting ... Good luck to you
