Thread: Electives before Cores?

Hi everyone!

I have a question as to when we are allowed to do electives.

Is it possible to do one or two electives while waiting for our Step 1 scores?

Is it possible to do electives in between waiting for core rotations?

it is possible to do electives between core rotations, i know someone doing that.

there are quite a few who start core rotations before their step 1 score comes in. best thing to do is score well on your comprehensive exam, that way the clinical coordinator will be very supportive of you starting right away if a spot is available.

I have experienced the same as Don 1.
