Is there a link that lists the states and sites of clinicals? I'm from MA and wanted to know if there were any here or which ones are the closest to where I live. Thanks![]()

510 points davidMD, are these all greenbook?
hope2bdoc, if you go to mua website www.mua.edu and download their catalouge, (should be a pdf), and scroll around you will find a list of hospital affiliations. it suprises me that so many students are unaware of this catalouge.

510 points What is the current clinical situation at MUA. I read that MUA/SABA/SMU are working together to get sites. Any word on more NY or FL sites? I see more schools heading to the midwest. Does MUA have any waitlists in clinicals, are all sites green?
510 points This is the officail list that was given to us Med5 students in the middle of the semester. As far as I know. All hospital all green book BUT NOT EVERY SEAT/ROTATION...as well, due to reasons that have nothing to do with MUA and simply to do with the economy, Wyckoff Heights our main hospital where almost all of the students that wanna do rotations in NY is closing two of its hospitals that are affiliated with it...what that means for us is that Surgery and i forget the other rotation will no longer be avaible to students...this means that all those students that are in those hospitals (american or carab. students) will be moved into the rest of the hospitals...Which means a longer waiting time unforunatly... HOWEVER for those ppl in states where DO rotations are accepted...they can still do surgery in NY...But many states do not want that so u will have to check. And DEF for us canadains that wanna return DO is not an option.
As well Although Harbor Hospital(apparently John Hopkins students do rotations here as well) is an Amazing place to go...from what i have heard one 1 seat is avaible for MUA students..
hope that helps...
1. LJ Chabert, Houma, LA (IM, OB, Peds, Surgery)

5. Southern Regional, Atlanta, GA (OB)
6. Cherry Hospital, Goldsboro, NC (psych)
7. Sheppard Pratt, Baltimore, MD (psych)
8. Harbor Hospital, Baltimore, MD (IM 210 or better on step 1)
9. Wyckoff Heights, Brooklyn, NY (IM, OB, Peds, surgery)
10. Peninsula Hospital, Far Rockaway, NY (Surgery, IM?)
510 points jerseygirldoc,
I do know about the catalogue, but I wanted to know firsthand from some of the students that have done clinicals since alot of the sites may not be listed. Most schools will only print a partial list. Thanks, though![]()
510 points The list posted by iMED and the list on MUA webiste are not the same anyway. Like the early poster said, they keep changing.

The two hospitals afflitated with Wyckoff have already closed. Surgery and OBGYN are no longer greenbook here, but students are still able to all the rotations in this hopsital.
510 points are the OKlahoma, Houma and Atlanta sites all greenbook rotations?
