wyckoff surgery and ob/gyn no longer GREENBOOK???

    Advertisements

does the closing of the caritas and st johns hospitals affect the green book status of wyckoff's surgery and ob/gyn programs?

from what i understand, they used to be greenbook based on the 'umbrella' of caritas..........

    so what is the deal?

You'll find a recent thread on this topic on the Ross forum. In short, I think OB is affected.

    OB and Surgery

Hey guys, I tried searching this thread on the Ross forum but didn't have much luck. So is it official that surgery and OB at Wyckoff are no longer greenbooked? When did this change go into effect and which students will be affected? Meaning say a student started OB at Wyckoff in Feb and just finished a week ago, are they affected by this? Also, I am a bit confused about the whole MD/DO situation.. now that OB and surgery are not greenbooked they are a DO rotation?? Before they were MD??
Also, how much of a problem do you think this will pose as for people wanting to get licensure in states that require greenbooked rotations? Any helpful responses will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

wyckoff is NOT greenbook in either surgery or ob/gyn....................

as for the previous post on whether you started a rotation while it was greenbooked means anything, that's up in the air...........nobody knows the answer to that.
