    Florida Rotations

    Does anyone know if we can do clinicals in Florida? Also if we are allowed to do 4th yr elective in a Florida hospital?

    Nope, but you can get licensed.

    We had a site inspection (ACCM) for possible FL approval a while ago when i was still on island. As far as i know we have provisional ACCM approval which is the first step to FL approval. Call Gardner for details, i was'nt interested in FL so i didnt check into it.

    are the 4th yr electives allowed in FL? i was under the impression that you could do electives in any hospital that has a residency training program

    That's if you have Florida approval. If you do not have Florida approval you can't do ANY rotations in Florida. You will still be eligible to obtain a residency and be licensed in Florida because the school is IMED listed.
