St. Anthony's in Chicago?
Is this hospital considered greenbook for OB/GYN? The hospital says that it is because u are taught by FP residents and since OB falls under the FP umbrella, it's OK. So... now I'm confused. Does anybody have any thoughts?

Hello Ms. Seitz, can you please clarify what you mean by ACGME umbrella clause? Is there any difference, to state medical licensing boards, between performing an OB core rotation under a FP residency program versus an OB/GYN residency program? Thank you,

Saint Anthony Hospital serves as a participating institution for our ACGME-accredited student training program in Ob. Loyola University/Cook County Program serves as the sponsoring institution for our Ob students, which satisfies the umbrella clause requirements of the ACGME for student training in Ob. Please refer to the ACGME website for further information.
Each states medical licensing board have their own requirements for foreign medical students. There are a few states that do not recognize any foreign medical student for licensure. Refer to the particular states website for information regarding medical licensure. Any further questions can be address to the Medical Education Office at 773-484-4338. Thank you for your interest in Saint Anthony Hospital's student program. Agnes G. Seitz |
