If anyone has an unlocked cell phone and want to buy my sim card PM me. That way when you get to Nevis you won't have to deal with cable & wireless or digicel, you'll have a working number ready.

Skype is another option to call back home. Even if you have vonage you still need a cell phone for daily communications.

The May 2007 semester folks did get their cell phone & service for free, but there was a limited number available. We waited and went to sign up in August 2007 to find they are now charging 49EC for the phone & service. Maybe this will change for the Jan 08 folks, who knows.
