i'm lookin for a roomy (still), premed1 may M26, but most premed guys think they'll get a single somehow...? (for those i've already talked to, good luck ppl, u can still PM qu's & requests) PS - shivaji (nice handle btw!), no india restaurants there! ship it or cook it. just bring some spices, a foreman grill & ur good to go. the best shops for veggies & chicken are on the older threads here, or just PM/befriend a current student. sorry guys took so long to respond...took step 1 on monday, wow it's over...anyway about nevis and it being close to home haha...well i guess i was just picturing the days when our parents grew up there lol, how the animals used to roam the streets...but i mean u do wake up to the rooster crowing at dawn and what not...and there are goats EVERYWHERE...as far as indian food...there used to be an indian restaurant there but not any more, there is one on st. kitts tho and ppl go there periodically during the semester to get some samosas and waht not...st kitts also has a subway...electricity as was stated is 110/115...so do bring a converter...power does go out, altho not as much anymore..maybe once, or twice a semester...but every place mostly has an automatic generator now...
if any of you are muslim and are interested in halal meat, rams sells halal chicken now...or u can go to a farm and make ure own halal meat later rifster

rifster - elec is 110/115, the biggest change is in cycles (external CD burners MAY not work for example), so why do we (N. american ppl) need a converter??
ur the 1st person to mention that. for the power going out, that's why we were recommended a UPS. would appreciate any input on bringing 'blank bank checks', my bank (unfortunately Citizens now) only lets me get checks of specific amounts (not blank). what do i need exactly? how many, in what amount? thanks bud, gambatte on step 1! |
