Thread: Calling out all 4 year applicants....anyone?

So the thread for Warsaw medical university has been quiet for sometime and I was wondering if there was anyone else out there applying for the 4 year program? Also anxious as well about the university's reply? Feel free to post here.

I have a few more questions for you guys. Did your Pre-med certificate detail all your courses/modules? Also did the class hour column include tutorials and practicals? I'm going to fill in as much of the detail as I can so I can get it back quicker. I have not finished the application yet so haven't paid the 200 euro yet but I'd also recommend you contact the college.

zairekairl, yes i put the detailed course name and course number as asked. For class hours i calculated based what 1 credit= hours according to my school transcript was and did the amount of class time in lecture or lab. the key is to just have the amount of hours and the full name of class and course ID for every class. Make sure it matches closely to transcript. I believe they use this certificate to take classes to add to your transcript at the end of your 4 years of med school as to compensate for the EU standard of 6 years. Since we are doing the program in 4, they may take classes from undergrad and add that to our final transcript to beef it up. Apparently that what i understood from the research i have done.

Hey. So guys what do you think warsaw medical school will be looking for? GPA-wise? I'm just super anxious because I don't know the stats of previous years that were accepted. I have a 3.3 GPA and am not sure if the school will accept that?

I'm really nervous about the gpa too since my GPA isn't that high.
But I know that someone on this froum got in with an average of high 70s~low 80s

Hey fellas! I am also anxious about hearing anything from warsaw. I already got an offer from another Univ. and just waiting to see what warsaw may say and if they accept me then is thums up. I hope to see you all there...or not....

that's great that you already got in somewhere! Is it also another polish medical university? and are you leaning more towards warsaw?

So anyway, while we are all waiting for a response, which i feel is going to happen sometime the end of June/ beginning of July. We could run introductions and introduce ourselves as the Applicants of 4 MD 2016 Class !! =p
I'm a 21 year old, with a B.A. in Biological sciences and I have a cumulative GPA of 3.3. I have been in Poland in the past and i love the country! i would say that i am really excited to study medicine, but also that it will be even more exciting to be studying in another country with a beautiful culture. =p Also, i am an avid rock climber (indoors) ! Do any of you guys have a polish background as well? or will this be your first time in Poland if accepted? =p

Hey ryan, yes it is another polish but def would like to get warsaw. how about you? just warsaw or have u tried elsewhere?
