Thread: CHANCES OF Acceptance? Can somebody help me out a bit?

Hi,

I'm a canadian citizen interested in the program to to hope.

My gpa is quite low: 2.73
I haven't taken the MCAT yet.
However, I did really well in a lot of pre-req courses for medical school. (I had some personal problems which lowered my marks severely afterwards)

During my undergraduate program, I was a biology major.
Here are some of my UNIVERSITY marks for courses that are usually
pre-requiste for medicine in Canada/USA:

Physics 1: A-
Physics 2: A+
Calculus: A
Statistics: A-
General Chem 1: A-
General Chemistry 2: C
Anatomy: A
Physiology 1: A+
Composition English: B+
Cell Biology: C+
Biological Diversity: B
Organic Chemistry 1: D+

My cumulative GPA (on the scale that medical schools in Canada use) is
around 2.73?

Does it seem like I'd likely be accepted?
What kind of MCAT would I need with that GPA?

tell them how you recovered after your struggles. i didn't know that they required mcat scores. they talk a big game during the phone interview but they usually let anyone in since their class sizes have been pretty small in silesia.
