Depends on what you mean. If you're asking about the school itself, then it's a pretty decent school. BUT, if you're going from the US, you'll be going into the English language program through HMI. I can't stress enough how bad of an idea that is!! Trust me!! I was there for a number of years, and in the end, I just got sick and tired of HMI and their unethical business practices...It's just not worth it....There are SO MANY better options, HMI shouldn't even be on your list of places to consider....

I do not have to apply through HMI. I am a british student and can apply to the school directly.

HMI is Hope Medical Institute. They're the agent you go through that's affiliated with University of Silesia.....If you can get in without having to deal with them, you'll be much better off...

first let me say thanks for taking the time to share your opinions and experiences.

I recently came across HMI and the medical program in Silesia, and I am seriously considering doing it.

I have heard some negative things about HMI on ValueMD and I don't really know why... it all seems pretty vague.

I completed my undergrad here in the U.S., all pre-med... I just didn't get accepted into any U.S. medical schools. Would you guys recommend this program... or should I still "stay away from HMI," and if so... why?

hello there, u said that u were in university of selisia for a few years through HMI, this is my first year at the university, and i was gonna try to transfer to Caribbean to finish the second year, i got done with the first year with a 4.0 GPA, now my question to u is that what yr r u in, when did u graduate? i hate HMI, and their **, what r other ways to do my rotation in the state without involving HMI? please help me.. thank you so much... btw, i have 2 bachelors in Biology and business in the state, im from Dallas,tx.. thanks
