Hey everyone,
In case you haven't heard, students will no longer need to take Salliemae's not-so-smart "Smart Option" private loan as now UMLUB will be able to offer GradPLUS loans.
Just wanted to share the news! Have a happy Summer!

510 points I believe there are 4 schools in Poland that have GradPlus Loans: Poznan, Krakow, MUL (Lodz), and now Lublin.
510 points since HMI/Lublin is currently having problem with loans, can students still get the GradPlus loans?
510 points You can still apply for the GradPlus loans, but there's no certainty you'll get them... I guess you won't find out until a week or two into the semester in October.
510 points O! I also heard that IF by chance the US Dept. of Ed, delays their decision in regards to the eligibility status and federal student loans happen to already disburse, then the entering class is good to go for the first year since the govt cannot reclaim the disbursed funds... ( I doubt this oversight would occur as there are so many budget cuts that it's safe to say everyone's on top of their game; but then again, I could be wrong).
PS: There's so much information going around in regards to the eligibility status that sometimes I myself don't know what's truth and what's fiction anymore...
BUT... from my understanding, Salle Mae loans will still be given to students who apply for them regardless of US Dept of Ed's decision!![]()
