Thread: book list

the book list hmi sent seems to be out dated. does anyone just buy the latest edition? or just what's in the list? does anyone have problem with the books once classes began? thanks.

There's no problem with the books... my advice is buy the ones that require full color and detail (Netter's, Moore, etc). Baby Guyton is also a good book to buy, just because having it copied defeats the whole pocketbook advantage. All others, the ones that are mostly text with maybe a couple extra colors (BRS books, LANGE) just wait. People always have them, and making a mass photocopy session works wonders. Not only do you get the books for around 20-50zl (my BRS anatomy cost ~22zl, for the actual book at the store they wanted 109 or something), and you don't have to worry over lugging them with you on your flight. There are some other books you'll want beyond whats on the list, but similarly you can just get those once you get here.
