Thread: clinical rotation in Lublin

i just got accepted into the 4 yr MD to Lublin this fall
I was wondering about the clinical rotation period @ Lublin

I heard they have affiliated hospitals at US, which they will set it up for students to do all of their 2 years of rotations in.

Is this true?

where I do the clinical rotation is important to me, that's why I ask
because as I understand, students who do the more clinical rotation in US have better chance of entering for residency

the way i understand it if you pass your USMLE step 1, you get US rotations (unless you don't want them). I've heard some chose to stay in PL all 4 years, even if they do pass USMLE.
As for the advantage... i think it comes in the form of more contacts in teaching hospitals; people who will want you there, or who can recommend you for the program you're trying to get into. IF they like you. All that helps, but your USMLE scores are still the #1 thing residency programs look at in selecting their incoming interns.

do current students find a problem getting back to the US for clinicals? just wanted to know what their experience has been like...

Lack of students willing to answer questions on this site isn't equivalent to no one knowing what's going on or the option not being a viable one.
