Hi,
I am thinking to get a digital voice recorder. I wanna know if all the professors podcast their lectures online or not? Thanks.
510 points Hi,
I am thinking to get a digital voice recorder. I wanna know if all the professors podcast their lectures online or not? Thanks.
i haven't thought of that...
Would be nice to see how they feel about audio/video recording of their lecs.
Vid usually works best, as you can see what they're pointing to/writing as well as what they're saying. I know profs at my UG are very anti-vid though.
Speaking of which, I'm curious if they have ppt notes like Uni's here do, or if it's still binders and blackboards...

do they allow recording though (audio or visual)? I figured they wouldn't be doing podcasts, but are you allowed to rec stuff yourself? Does anyone do it?

So what's the daily workload as far as pages to read goes? Cuz here it often went over into the "don't even think about doing as I say or you'll keel over" zone, thus the study usually consisting of ppt notes and reviewing lec recordings... though I did take max units most quarters
I don't think i've actually read a textbook for anything but reference/clarification since I nearly died my first qt trying to actually keep up with the reading
Oh, and how big are the lecture halls? I hear lec halls and PSLH (occupancy=450) jumps to mind...
