pls how do u get visa to poland
am in carribbean island
i have not gotten visa yet and school starts on october
i want to know about the school pls----

well u just gotta fill the form and send ur passport and fillled form to l.a and ask to do it overnight....and u'll be set. If u r a american citizen then u dont need a visa!

true but if your an american citizen, you are allowed a maximum of 90 days in poland without an offical visa from the embassy after which you must leave the country. Some kids leave poland and go to some nearby place like berlin or somewhere. That re-validates their 90 day stay in poland without an offical visa. That is however a little annoying i think so its best to obtain an offical visa from the embassy. Your visa allows you a maximum of one year stay. After that you must resend your passport to the embassy and obtain another visa. Its much better to get a visa becuz then at the airport the customs people cant hassle you. There have been students who have been hassled for no reason at the customs point in poland simply becuz they had no visa and sometimes the authorities fail to recognize the "90 day" rule. Its stupid. If you have your visa, legally the polish authorities cant bother you or even if they try, they cant really do anything. So dont take any chance. Im not trying to scare you, but im just sayin its less of a hassle in the future if you simply get a visa. Good Luck in Poland. Study Hard. Study Smart.

By the way, Americans are allowed 90 days within Poland but as a tourist. That is, it's not legal to be working or studying in Poland and then leaving every 90 days to get your passport stamped, proving that you've left the country. The border control people are starting to take more of an issue with this particularly in the last year, so to avoid any problems just get the Visa and be done with it.
